We're excited to be recruiting for a passionate and driven Management Accounts Officer to join the Financial Management function across the Local Care Organisation and Dental Hospital. We're looking for someone dependable to ensure that the budgets for which they are responsible are maintained to a high standard through strong communication with budget holders.

Main duties of the job

To support the Senior Management Accounts Officer / Deputy Financial Management Accountant in maintaining the Trust CSU budgets. Having a direct link to specific CSU budgets They will be responsible for ensuring that the CSU budgets for which they are responsible are maintained to a high standard through robust communication with budget holders

Essential

  • Professional Qualification to certificate level, NVQ Level 5 or equivalent qualification, or AAT Member

Knowledge

Essential

  • Knowledge of financial management and budgetary management is essential.

Desirable

  • Working knowledge of Integra Financial Ledger System

Experience

Essential

  • Management accounts experience, including production of income and expenditure budget statements.
  • Detailed understanding of software packages used and an ability to identify and fix problems.

Desirable

  • Experience of working in a financial management role within an Acute Trust

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong IT skills and a thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite with excellent skills in Excel.
