Ward Clerk - Frailty Unit

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen on the Frailty Unit to join our team in the position of full-time Ward Clerk.

The post holder will provide a wide range of administrative and clerical duties to the ward/ unit staff. They will be responsible for the safe keeping and availability of all clinical records relating to patients and the smooth running of the ward / department office. They will also provide general assistance to the ward / unit staff. Hive experience would be desirable

Main duties of the job

This is a very busy role and we are therefore looking for individuals with excellent communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure and the desire and enthusiasm to assist us in providing a first class service.

The working pattern for this post will be Monday to Friday 0730 - 1530

You will also be given the opportunity to attend training courses to expand your existing skills.
