This is an exciting time for the Local Care Organisation as we are engaged in a transformation plan which will develop a streamlined referral management and appointment scheduling service in a centralised team. Our new Single Point of Access (SPOA) is being established as the core service to direct and manage referrals into MFT Adult community services across Manchester and Trafford, joining-up systems, end-to-end processes and practice.
As part of this transformation, we're excited to bring on board a motivational, proactive and adaptable SPOA Administration Manager who will support the change and deliver a flagship service. This role will be critical from the get-go with the integration of referral management into the newly established SPOA and enabling future continuous improvement of the service and its team.
The SPOA service will operate 8am - 8pm, 7 days a week. The post will predominantly be based at Meadway Health Centre, Sale, although there will be a requirement to travel to other venues across Manchester and Trafford, as required.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the Single Point of Access (SPOA) team within the Manchester and Trafford Local Care Organisation(s) (M/TLCO). The core purpose of the SPOA service is to administer and manage referrals and appointment bookings across neighbourhood, nursing, AHP-led, specialist services and urgent care services in Manchester and Trafford.
Assist LCO Locality Management Teams in the development and implementation of processes, policies and procedures, which support the SPOA and M/TLCO in the delivery of scheduled pathways within agreed targets. This post will be fundamental in supporting the delivery of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within the service.
The post-holder will be responsible for providing effective day to day management of the SPOA team to deliver a highly efficient support service to the M/TLCO.
