Job summary
This is an exciting time to join the Finance Systems team as we support the new implementation of Integra Centros at Bolton Hospital and prepare for the subsequent implementation of Centros within MFT. This role will specifically work across MFT and as well supporting Greater Manchester Mental Health in the provision of their core finance system - currently Integra2 at both organisations, with MFT planning to migrate to Integra Centros later in 25/26.
Main duties of the job
- To assist with the management of the Trusts' financial systems ensuring that these are robust, data integrity is maintained and ensuring that stakeholders receive relevant, accurate and timely financial and business advice and providing expertise in ensuring that financial systems are fit for future
- Provide management for the Financial Systems Team, managing workloads and providing guidance and support with tasks. Actively identify development opportunities and contribute to adding value to a high quality Finance Systems service
- Contribute to the vigorous testing and implementation of future financial systems upgrades or improvements with responsibility for identifying and reporting any issues that arise throughout the projects
- Support the first-line Finance Systems support for all non-procurement finance system users. This will require good knowledge of finance systems to establish the problem, impact and solution whilst providing support and guidance to the end user
- Advise on complex systems issues and develop solutions to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of financial systems and processes including being a key point of contact with Trusts' service managers
- Manage the maintenance of all financial systems by scheduling and reviewing closedowns, implementing updates and liaising with system suppliers to ensure that the service is available as agreed under the terms of the contract
