Adult Haematology-Oncology Research

We are looking for a part-time Band 4 Clinical Research Practitioner to support the coordination and delivery of clinical research studies within the Adult Haematology-Oncology Research Hub at MFT.
This role offers a opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research that directly impacts patient care and advances treatment options in haematology-oncology. Prior experience in clinical trials or haematology-oncology is desirable, but full training and support will be provided to develop the necessary expertise.
You will be joining an award-winning, dynamic, and diverse team dedicated to driving research excellence and improving healthcare outcomes across Manchester Royal Infirmary (MRI) and Wythenshawe Hospitals.
As part of the Haematology-Oncology Research Team, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, research staff, and stakeholders, as well as the wider dispensary team, to support high-quality research delivery.

Main duties of the job
What We Are Looking For:
We're looking for a part time Band 4 Clinical Research Practitioner to coordinate and deliver clinical research studies at Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MFT).
- A highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
- Someone with experience in a clinical or patient-facing role and a passion for research.
- A flexible approach to work patterns to meet the needs of a busy research setting.
- A candidate educated to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or 4or with equivalent knowledge and experience in clinical or clinical research.
The post holder will be a key member of the clinical research team. They will trained & assist in the management, co-ordination and facilitation of clinical trial activities to support delivery of current and future studies in the research team to time and target.
She/he/they will be expected to participate fully in their own personal development and review process in order to achieve the knowledge and skills identified in the competency framework and competencies for this post.
