An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicatedBand 6 Physiotherapist to join our specialist team, working within the field of amputee rehabilitation on a permanent part-time contract.

As a Band 6 Physiotherapist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care to both paediatric and adult amputees in outpatient and community settings at the Specialised Ability Centre. You will be working with both new and established amputees, helping them regain mobility, independence, and confidence in their daily lives.

This is a unique opportunity to work within a highly skilled and specialist multidisciplinary team, where your expertise will contribute to life-changing rehabilitation outcomes.

Main duties of the job

To perform advanced physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions, to provide a diagnosis and develop and deliver an individualised treatment programme.To be responsible for your own caseload and a defined area of the service, working without direct supervision. Access to advice and support from a senior physiotherapist is available if required, clinical work is not routinely evaluated.

To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.
