Job summary
The Community Midwives team are seeking a highly motivated and supportive Administrator to join our busy service.
Operating within clearly defined policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines, you will aid the smooth running of a busy community midwives office and will reflect high quality customer care in all your daily activities.
A degree of flexibility will be required as there is an expectation for the successful candidate to cross cover other areas of Maternity services during times of need.
Working closely with your colleagues across multiple sites within MFT, a flexible approach is essential as is your ability to become a key contributor to the wider admin team whilst using your initiative and adapting well to change.
Our aim is to continually improve patient services and as such having robust administrative support with a professional approach is essential. With all this mind you will need to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, have accurate typing skills and must be able to multitask and willing to adapt and develop your skill set to match service requirements.
Main duties of the job
To provide a wide range of administrative support within the clinical area. To contribute to best practice and assist in developing working practices within the unit/team in order to deliver an efficient and effective administration service in accordance with relevant policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines.
