We are a friendly, energetic and expanding dietetic department at North Manchester General Hospital. We form part of a larger cross-Trust Dietetic Division alongside Manchester Royal Infirmary, Wythenshawe Hospital and Trafford General Hospital.

Main duties of the job
Your caseload will be varied, comprising complex nutritional support and gastroenterology patients as well as colorectal surgery patients, both as in- and out-patients. This will include assessing and advising on parenteral nutrition, enteral nutrition and high stoma output patients. There will be plenty of scope for multidisciplinary working. You will have the opportunity to work within the specialities of Head & Neck and Critical Care alongside the band 7 dietitians.
Your knowledge and skill progression are extremely valued, and the department actively encourages CPD activities, personal development and in-house training. You will have the opportunity to develop your clinical supervisory skills with dietetic students and junior staff.
A flexible attitude with excellent communication and team working skills are essential along with a sound knowledge of nutrition support.
