Job summary

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and organised Portfolio Office Administrator to join the Group Informatics Team at Manchester Foundation Trust (MFT).

We are looking for skilled, enthusiastic, and dedicated staff with a delivery focus who can align to our values and behaviors.You will be delivering exciting change initiatives, service improvements and defined projects across our portfolio of work, supporting the achievement of the MFT Digital Strategy and wider organizational strategies and digital aspirations.

You will form part of a growing, motivated, and supportive team and will be well placed to develop your skills and knowledge.

Main duties of the job

This is a busy and rewarding role in a team which supports the transformation of services through the utilisation of technology in accordance with trust-wide business requirements. Your application must be able to demonstrate that you have a sound understanding of business change, project and programme delivery, have strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills, advanced IT skills understanding and working knowledge of digital change initiatives and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders.

Qualifications

Essential

  • GCSE's - Grade A-C or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrable evidence of working within a complex organisational environment involving project / programme / portfolio / business support work (e.g., PMO/Business Office/OCIO)
  • Experience of problem solving, quickly identifying and implementing solutions.
  • Fully competent in the use of MS Office packages: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, MS Teams
  • Ability to deliver against challenging deadlines

Desirable

  • Higher National Certificate / Diploma or equivalent qualification in an IT related subject
  • Knowledge or experience in developing standard operating procedures to support business functions
  • Administrator experience in SharePoint
