Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of Trust Digital Services. You will be a key member of the Digital Services Assurance and IG team. The post holder will report to and support the Head of Digital Services Assurance and IG to provide assurance that the service operates and progresses in a safe, regulated, well-governed environment. You will work closely with team colleagues on data protection and information governance in providing an excellent data protection and IG services internally and to external customers.

Main duties of the job

You will support the handling of formal complaints, managing those where Digital Services are the lead investigator, and overseeing Digital Services contribution for those that are led by other areas. You will also support the Freedom of Information quality assurance process.

The post-holder will contribute to the management oversight of Digital Services risk, health and safety and audit action plans,

You will also play a key role in the provision of accurate, timely and well-presented reports, governance papers, templates, policy and process documentation to support the Digital Services Assurance and IG function; supporting quality assurance activities to ensure documentation and correspondence managed by the team is professional, accurate, timely and well-presented.

  • Education to Degree or equivalent; Additional Managerial qualification or equivalent experience.

  • Professional training related to information governance

  • Experience and understanding of Incidents and Complaints Management
  • Experience in the development of KPI and metrics for monitoring and oversight
  • Experience and understanding of information governance standards
