Job summary

Responsible for the delivery of an efficient, responsive, effective and customer focused support service for the PACS system and its associated peripherals. The Senior IT PACS Technician will have responsibility for ensuring that IT technical support is provided to appropriate levels of customer service in line with corporate Service Level Agreements.

Senior IT technicians must work closely with the PACS Managers and other IT Managers to ensure a high performing, structured and co-ordinated approach to the provision and delivery of PACS support.

Provide on-going expertise to IT Support and PACS Team for designated applications.

Co-ordinate and provide user support and training during Projects, particularly during implementation phases.

Undertake designated Requests for Change

Main duties of the job

Be responsible for the day-to-day technical management of the Imaging - PACS Specialists, Imaging.

PACS, System Technicians and Imaging - PACS Administrators working in conjunction with the other

Imaging - PACS Leads and Imaging Application Manager across the MFT sites.

The Imaging - PACS Specialist will have the responsibility for ensuring that IT technical support is provided to appropriate levels of customer service in line with corporate Service Level Agreements.
