Main duties of the job

What we're looking for

We're looking for a full time Band 6 Senior Clinical Research Nurse to coordinate and deliver clinical research studies at Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MFT).

If you are committed to providing high quality care to patients and helping them to make the right decisions about their treatment options, with the skills to guide and advise them throughout their research journey, this role could be for you.

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who can significantly contribute to the development and delivery of research within the MFT Vaccine Research Team. Our team is dedicated to facilitating and supporting the delivery of vaccine trials across various specialities, which are often complex and challenging with high recruitment targets. Given the demanding nature of these trials, we expect the candidate to work autonomously and be adaptable to meet the needs of the role. While the core working hours are Monday to Friday, flexibility to work weekends and out-of-hours according to delivery demands is essential. Additionally, the post will require working across the MFT sites as necessary to ensure collaborative working and to support the smooth delivery of research studies across all sites.
