Job summary

Saint Mary's Hospital is seeking to appoint a Data Validation Coordinator to join the Saint Mary's Validation Team.

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who enjoys analysing data and can quickly learn new IT systems. To be successful in this role you will need to be highly organised, pay attention to detail and be able to manage competing priorities, using your own initiative to solve problems.

You will need excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across staff groups, always conducting yourself in a professional manner.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring administrative procedures are effective to ensure patients are safely progressed along their pathways.

Main duties of the job

Identify and correct erroneous patient records to ensure patients are safely managed along their pathway. Capturing learning and providing constructive feedback to individuals as required. Supporting submission of national cancer reporting requirements through review of pathways and reports.

This post is based at Saint Mary's Hospital, Oxford Road but involves occasional travel to other sites including Withington Community Hospital.
