Rotational Physiotherapist - Trafford Local Care Organisation

Job summary

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to gain a wealth of experience on the Trafford Local Care Organisation band 5 Physiotherapy rotational programme which includes:

Musculoskeletal Outpatients

Community Stroke/Neuro Rehabilitation

Community Rehabilitation

Intermediate Care in-patient beds

Trafford Discharge to Assess team

Pulmonary Rehabilitation

There is a position for a permanent full time post.

Main duties of the job

Each 6 month rotation will provide you with the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and knowledge within a range of specialities with the support from an experienced and well established governance structure including regular clinical supervision, training, a band 5 peer support group and regular physiotherapy meetings.

The division is committed to the development of its staff, echoing the Greater Manchester AHP strategy, and embraces opportunities to enhance quality of care.

  • Completion of broad range of undergraduate placements within the NHS
  • Experience of working within a team and independently with support.
  • Experience of liaison with other professionals and partnership working.
  • Experience within the NHS

  • Research and Development awareness.
  • Experience working in an nhs community setting

  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support relevant clinical skills and effective clinical reasoning.
