We are looking for dynamic, dedicated and flexible individuals to support the multi- disciplinary Major Trauma Team on a day-to-day basis. Although this is not a training post, time will be given for training appropriate to the interests of the successful applicants. A nominated Educational Supervisor will be assigned to the successful applicants to help ensure individuals are able to develop in their area of interest. In addition, post holders are invited to attend the departmental meetings, as well as an active post graduate programme of teaching at MRI. We are not looking for applicants from any particular specialty. We welcome applicants from almost any background, but an interest in major trauma is essential.
Post holders are expected to work 08:00-17:30 as part of a blended team of clinical fellows and Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACP's). Post holders are expected to work 1 in 4 or 1 in 5 weekends with appropriate compensatory rest periods.
