The specialist medicine pharmacy team are highly integrated within the MDT providing expert clinical skills and opportunities participating in pharmacist led clinics. The role is open to individuals who have experience in, and thrive on, working in highly specialist services.

Main duties of the job

In addition to having a passion for gastroenterology and specialist medicine you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team and lead the team. You must be able to manage and motivate others and have the ability to influence the multidisciplinary team and engage with key stakeholders.

  • Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • 1 year pre registration training and experience

  • Independent prescribing qualification
  • post graduate diploma in clinical pharmacy or equivalent documented clinical experience
