Job summary

The Acute Medicine department is looking to appoint enthusiastic, highly motivated and dynamic Consultant colleagues to join our team in Acute Medicine at North Manchester Hospital. The consultants in our current team have varied sub-specialty interests including rheumatology, infectious diseases, respiratory, gastroenterology and emergency medicine. This truly is an exciting time to join North Manchester General Hospital. A once-in-a-generation opportunity will see our hospital rebuilt and the creation of a health hub within our grounds. This creates a rare opportunity to become involved with these changes and part of the new future of the site. We are part of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust which unites multiple hospitals and providers of community services. MFT delivers care to approximately 750,000 people across 10 hospital sites. We are changing the way care is delivered to address health inequalities in our region. The posts are based at North Manchester General Hospital and provide senior medical support to our 53 Medical Assessment Units bed split across 2 wards and our Ambulatory Care Unit.

  • Respiratory Medicine
  • Care of the Elderly - Frailty sessions

Trust Values

  • Everyone Matters
  • Working Together
  • Dignity and Care
  • Open and Honest
