Job summary

Job Purpose:Join our prestigious Group Digital team as a Senior Digital Network Specialist specialising in Data & Voice. This role is pivotal in providing robust technical support for the development, maintenance, and administration of our data and voice infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance to meet clinical and business needs.

Main duties of the job

Lead the day-to-day operations of Trust-wide data and voice networks.

Manage incident resolution, problem-solving, and service requests.

Supervise the installation and commissioning of data communication network equipment.

Oversee the workload of the Data and Voice Network Team.

Monitor and manage network stability, availability, capacity, integrity, resilience, and security.

Provide recommendations to senior leadership based on network assessments.

Ensure compliance with NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) requirements.

Present complex information on cyber and information security to stakeholders.

Provide specialist technical support for software, hardware, and data communication issues.

Maintain comprehensive network documentation and inventories.

Contribute to the strategic development of the Trust's data and voice network infrastructure.

Assist in service continuity and disaster recovery planning.

Act as a technical liaison between the Network team and Trust Telephony Team.

Provide support for Windows server operating systems and associated hardware.

Stay updated on IT technical issues relevant to healthcare environments.

Monitor key performance indicators and service delivery metrics.
