You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, ranging from our clinical professionals to operational teams, providing them with the financial insights to run their services efficiently.

Main duties of the job

The Management Accounts Officer's main duties will be to:

  • To be the key contact for budget-holders, providing them with high quality financial information and advice.
  • Use Excel and other software to provide financial reports and conduct financial analysis, using formulae and other functionality as required.
  • To complete financial month-end (journals, variance analysis) while prioritising according to materiality and risk.
  • Co-ordinate the production of monthly report for budget holders and directorate meetings whilst supporting with scrutiny paper and board paper production.
