If you are looking for an exciting challenge and a wealth of opportunities you are encouraged to join our current nursing workforce, based in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery unit Royal Oldham Hospital.
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is an out-patient surgical service offering Minor oral surgery and Head & Neck skin services along with restorative dentistry service.
You will be expected to cross site cover to our other three Oral & Maxillofacial units which are: North Manchester General Hospital, Rochdale Infirmary and Fairfield General Hospital as and when required. It is necessary that the candidate can drive and has access to a car with a clean driving license.
Main duties of the job
You will need to be a qualified Dental Nurse registered with the GDC and have a minimum of three years dental nursing experience, in a hospital setting preferred. Would be an advantage if you already had the following certificates for Oral Health Education, IV Sedation and Radiology for Dental Nursing.
You must be able to demonstrate a high standard of care achieved through evidence based practice and you must have evidence of continuing personal development.
