You would be joining a supportive team within governance who have a variety of experiences and you would be welcomed into a team that support staff development.By joining the Governance Team you have the opportunity to develop your skills within governance and support the division with their learning from complaints, claims, incidents and risk reviews and other areas of governance.You will help shape the future of North Manchester and develop processes and procedures in conjunction with the Assistant Director to ensure we continuously learn, in a supportive way. You will support the Governance Manager of the named area you will work with, to deliver on key objectives. In return we can offer you development to enhance your skill set.
Main duties of the job
As a Clinical Governance Officer you will support the Governance Manager to ensure the division are up to date with timely reviews of incidents, writing up findings from learning events, monitoring trends, complaints, risks and all aspects of governance. No two days are the same in governance and you will be doing something different every day.

- Support with effective communication with all staff within the Division and the TrustClinical Governance Team
- Organise and ensure deadlines are adhered to
- Support Governance Agendas when required and attend meetings
- Liaise closely with the Multi-Disciplinary Team to ensure learning from learning events.
- Attend governance meeting
- Provide support to the Governance Manager on all aspects of Governance
- Track and monitor trends in your area.
