Job summary

Working collaboratively with the Business Support Manager you will design and develop innovative and exciting staff engagement activities supporting the workforce priorities of our senior leadership team.

Do you have excellent organisation and communication skills? Are you highly organised with an eye for detail? Can you show creativity when developing forward thinking communication plans? If the answer is yes, then this is an exciting opportunity for you, and we would love to hear from you.

Main duties of the job

This is an exciting opportunity to join Saint Mary's Managed Clinical Service (MCS). as our Senior Communications adn Engagement Officer with responsibility for leading the creation and maintenance of a strong stakeholder engagement network across our MCS and wider Trust, producing high quality and eye-catching materials and literature for our internal communications in print, audio, and video formats. Your role will include:

  • Developing and distributing engaging and timely internal communications
  • Creating and managing innovative communication and internal PR campaigns
  • Keeping our intranet site, website, and social media accounts up to date and with exciting and engaging content
  • Coordinating regular staff engagement events both online and face-to-face
  • Promoting our regular staff surveys and reviewing findings for action
  • Supporting our annual staff recognition awards
  • Support positive patient stories for external audiences
