Our services include 5 district bases covering 3 Manchester services, Salford and Trafford, a service for 16 and 17 year old's and specialist services for Community Eating Disorders, Looked After Children, Learning Disability, Early Years and Youth Offending.

Main duties of the job

All our CAMHS teams have a wide mix of skills and experience in their multi-disciplinary teams and enthusiastic, supportive colleagues, highly skilled and cohesive environment. The Consultants across CAMHS meet regularly for academic, professional and social support with a well-respected training scheme for trainees placed across the services. It goes without saying that you'll be expected to take part in frontline work and/or on call though, with a large increase in consultant numbers, we anticipate you'll still have the capacity to make use of the facilities of our large University Hospital.

The job plan will initially consist of 10 PAs, providing maternity cover for 12 months. That said, we are flexible about the composition of the clinical part of the job plan and might be able to offer more than SPAs to individuals with a substantial interest in teaching or research and will also consider part time working too. Each job plan will be reviewed annually by the Clinical Director.
