Job summary

The Senior HR Business Partner will be responsible for:

- The provision of high quality strategic and operational workforce support.

- Ensuring best practice people management within their areas of responsibility and across the wider workforce function.

- HR expertise to business decision making and develop innovative people solutions to support business plans and strategy, in partnership with divisional leads.

- Liaising with other HR colleagues to maintain effective communication links, ensuring that best practice is shared and developed and to facilitate cross-cover of HR services.

- Management of a complex case load.

- Ensuring the operational and transformational Human Resources services are aligned within Divisional and corporate areas, to promote partnership working and the delivery of a proactive and customer centered service, which improves both the service and the patient experience.

Main duties of the job

Join Wythenshawe, Trafford, Withington and Altrincham (WTWA) Hospitals HR and OD team, as a senior member leading on a number of exciting workforce programmes including single services, across our services and with regular opportunities to enhance your CPD portfolio and career.

You will oversee ER cases and help to lead initiatives that support the delivery of the People Plan.

You will manage a team consisting of a Assistance HR Business Partner and HR Advisor.

You will work in partnership with your divisional triumvirates which consist of a Divisional Director, Clinical Head of Division and Head of Nursing. Each Senior HR Business Partner covers two divisions.

While you will of course have the pre-requisite skills and knowledge, a 'can do', agile and innovative approach is essential.

Experience of working in a large complex group structure is desirable.

You must be willing to travel to any of our hospitals on an occasional basis.
