Job summary
Are you a team player, dynamic and looking for a varied role? Do you have expertise in audio visual, videoconferencing, and IT related systems? We are recruiting and expanding the Audiovisual Team which is embedded within the Education Campus Team at MFT.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our friendly team to provide an efficient and support service to a fantastic multi-disciplinary team across MFT. You must have good attention to detail together with the ability to prioritise your own work to meet deadlines. You will have good interpersonal skills liaising with medical and nursing staff as well as other colleagues across multiple Divisions.
The post holder will provide a diverse and innovative range of support, on all AV and related IT systems applications and other necessary equipment to aid learning, teaching, and administration. The role will be to prepare the educational spaces by providing AV and IT operational management services to users.
The role includes the installation, commissioning, and relocation of new technical equipment in line with advances in technology.

Main duties of the job
-Take personal responsibility in maintaining professional competence.
-Keeping abreast of AV developments to maintain a level of technical competence and technical awareness appropriate to current duties.
-Developing new knowledge and competences in line with departmental requirements.
-Ensuring all activities are carried out within a quality framework and meet regulatory requirements.
-Produce technical material (e.g. graphics, slides and promotional material).
-Produce guidelines and standard operating procedures for the safe and proper use of AV equipment and related IT systems throughout the department.
-Carry out all work in accordance with departmental quality policies and procedures.
-Produce video and audio recordings and post-process.
-Assist in the installation of new hardware and follow safety guidelines to ensure personal safety and the safety of service users.
-Responsible for setting up rooms and ensure that the rooms are returned to the original configuration following use.
