Job summary
To organise theoretical and practical training for health professionals nationwide; for clinics across the North West, specialising in Contraception, Sexual Health and HIV services. The post holder will work independently and will require excellent communication and organisational skills.
Main duties of the job
- Work independently to co-ordinate training sessions from applicants across the country. Extensively communicate with senior clinicians and trainees, co-ordinating sessions across multiple sites within the North West.
- Maintain good working knowledge of multiple training programme requirements to advise prospective trainees of the process/ eligibility criteria to undertake the training.
- Arrange appropriate venues for training courses inclusive of room bookings and catering.
- Produce and disseminate all course resources, training materials and handouts.
- To be the first point of contact at the course venue for both delegates and facilitators. This involves working independently and requires a high degree of initiative and flexibility e.g occasional adjustments to working hours/ days to meet service need.
- Maintain systems for effective monitoring of each course using Excel, Word and other in house systems.
- Preserve and maintain the current recording system of all trainees, attendances, finance data and course information.
- Sole responsibly for all financial transactions, action and record. All completed in line with Trust Standard Financial Instructions using Integra2 system.
- Produce regular performance monitoring reports regarding training sessions delivered and ensuring timely submission to relevant organisations.
