Job summary

We are seeking a Principal Lead Sonographer to support our busy team., and manage all aspects of the ultrasound service provided at North Manchester General to include obstetrics, gynaecology, and general medical ultrasound services.

It will be an exciting opportunity to help shape the structure of the department, along with each individual's areas of responsibility. The post will be primarily based at North Manchester General Hospital although ability to travel to cover between MFT sites for meetings and cover will be expected. We now want to give you the opportunity to take your career to new heights. You will be pivotal in forming an aspirational vision taking the Ultrasound Service to the next level and leading a team.

Main duties of the job

We have a wide range of modern state of the art equipment which is updated under a rolling replacement programme.
