An exciting opportunity has arisen in Corporate Patient Services at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT).
We are seeking to appoint a motivated and driven Patient Experience Programme Manager to provide visible leadership and management across the Trust's Corporate Patient Experience Team.
The post holder will be an integral member of the Patient Services Management team. Working closing with the Patient Services Manager and Matron for Patient Experience you will provide professional management support, operational leadership and expertise to ensure that the Patient Experience process across the Trust is effectively delivered in line with Trust policies and procedures.
With your advanced communication, leadership and analytical skills you will interpret data to provide regular trending, and reports to demonstrate the performance of Patient Experience across the Trust.
Main duties of the job
Reporting directly to the Trust's Matron for Patient Experience you will act as an expert in Patient Experience, championing best practice and providing professional leadership in relation to Patient Experience and line management for the Corporate Patient Experience Team.
The post holder will provide senior level support to implement and monitor progress on delivery of objectives to ensure the delivery of a responsive, high-quality Patient Experience service that meets and exceeds local and national standards.
You will provide focused leadership and management of an accessible, responsive Patient Experience service to patients and service users and be responsible for the continued development and improvement of culture within the Trust.
The post holder will ensure the successful roll out of the Trust's What Matters to Me (WMTM) Programme across MFT ensuring patient and carer experience is optimised and embedded, contributing to the key quality and performance outcomes and organisational Vision and Values.
You will have proven experience of the MFT What Matters to Me Patient Experience Programme and you will have a good understanding of the Patient Experience Agenda. This includes the ability to adapt information to a range of stakeholders and experience in interdisciplinary working. You will be proficient at producing detailed reports and action plans, both written and verbal.
