Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Highly Specialist Pharmacist to join the team working at Oxford Road Central Campus. You will deliver a high-quality, patient focused, clinical pharmacy service to central Manchester's respiratory population. This role will involve clinic based work delivering care to patients with severe asthma and other respiratory illness. You will be part of the MDT and as the pharmacist you will facilitate safe, effective and evidence based delivery of respiratory medicine.

Main duties of the job

To deliver a high quality patient focused clinical pharmacy service for patients and establish effective relationships with clinical staff and other stakeholders delivering care to our service users.

To promote the responsible, safe , clinically-effective and cost-effective use of medicines within the directorate.

To support education and development of medical, nursing and pharmacy staff in your role as Highly Specialist Pharmacist.

You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team whilst also managing your own workload. You must be able to manage and motivate others and have the ability to influence the multidisciplinary team and engage with key stakeholders.
