Job summary
The Central Manchester School for Dental Care Professionals within the University Dental Hospital of Manchester is seeking to recruit a qualified Dental Nurse Assessor to join their dynamic team.
An opportunity has arisen for this 12 months fixed termed position.
The successful post holder will implement and manage the process of assessment for a set number of learners undertaking their City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing programme. The post holder may be requested to undertake the learner's assessment process within the Dental Hospital or the General Dental Practice placements across the North West region.
You may also be required to support with the assessment process of learners undertaking their National Examining Board for Dental Nursing post registration Record of Competence.
Main duties of the job

Duties and responsibilities
Ensure all documentation is completed in relation to the school's policies and procedures.
Be responsible for the planning, assessment and evaluation outcomes of learners to meet national occupational standards.
Be responsible for monitoring and recording learners progress.
Deliver one to one or small group teaching sessions in accordance with agreed educational policies.
Be responsible for the development of learner's progress.
Provide one to one support for learners on training pathways.
Ensure the environment is conductive to education and training.
Assist with the recruitment and interview process of learners wishing to undertake the City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing.
Attend regular internal meetings between the team.
Liaise with the External Awarding Body to the qualification.
