That's because, right now, we're looking to recruit a number of nurses across our Inpatient Bone Marrow Transplant and Haematology Unit.Join us and you'll have the opportunity to work in our regional Centre for Haematology and Stem Cell Transplant, where an exciting expansion is almost complete which will transform the department into a bespoke 34 bedded unit.For our patients, we really do go that extra mile to nurse with care with the provision of additional services to enhance hospital stay experience including free Wi-Fi, complimentary TV, access to a social worker, a psychotherapist, along with those added extras such as dedicated snack rounds.

Main duties of the job

As a nurse on the Haematology ward at MRI you will be caring for patients undergoing a range of treatment regimes including chemotherapy, stem cell transplants and CAR T transplants for a wide range of haematological conditions such as leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma. You may also care for patients with haemophilia, sickle cell disease or thalassaemia.

To succeed, you'll need to be committed to delivering high quality, patient focused care with pride and respect, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to provide evidence of personal and professional development. Along the way, you'll be supported by our in-house Clinical Educator who'll oversee your training needs, supported by the wider divisional education team.
