Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen in Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust for a Workforce Information & Planning Lead to play a key role in delivering our exciting and innovative workforce intelligence strategy .

Main duties of the job

Working within the Workforce Directorate, you will work closely with our clinical and corporate stakeholders helping us maximise the potential of our data to support workforce planning and decision making. The Teams utilises SQL and Power BI tools and has a vision to provide self-service ward to board integrated, workforce performance information and insights across the Trust.

  • Project Management Qualification, PRINCE 2 or equivalent

  • Strong NHS ESR knowledge or similar HR oracle/SAP based system
  • Good understanding of how NHS works including knowledge of clinical and non-clinical roles
  • Experience of leading service change and transformation
  • Experience in automating routine tasks and implementing reporting tools
  • Experience in line management

Desirable

  • Expert knowledge of NHS and other information data sources
