Job summary
MFT is one of the biggest, most ambitious, and progressive NHS Trusts in the country. We are responsible for running a family of nine hospitals across six separate sites, providing a wide range of services from comprehensive local general hospital care through to highly specialised regional and national services.
You must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and have post qualification experience in Aseptic Services.
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual, who is an excellent team player, flexible, self-motivated, and able to demonstrate professionalism, excellent organisational and communication skills. You must be able to work accurately, quickly and under pressure, have a good eye for detail, be able to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines and be committed to deliver a high standard patient focused service.
This role will include 1 in 4 Saturday working as part of a rota. Bank Holiday and On call working as part of a rota. Posts will be based the Oxford Road Campus, with the requirement of working across our sites at Wythenshawe or North Manchester Hospital Sites
Main duties of the job
Working closely with Aseptic Services Specialist Senior Technicians, you will lead a team of technical staff and coordinate the preparation and supply of aseptically prepared products. Committed to high standards, you will ensure an efficient, safe and effective service is provided to patients. You will contribute to our ethos of providing a positive, forward thinking, and professional working environment in which staff work with each other and for each other. As a valued member of the team, you will be supported to develop your knowledge of aseptic services and managerial skills to progress in your career
