Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen, due to the emerging nature of midwifery services in Manchester for a highly skilled, enthusiastic and experienced midwife to join the maternity education and practice development team as a Midwifery Practice Educator. The vision is for successful post-holder(s) to support the delivery of the midwifery preceptorship programme and on-going education programmes at St Mary's managed clinical service Oxford Road Campus, with cross site engagement and working.
Main duties of the job
Saint Mary's Hospital Managed Clinical Service is the largest maternity service in the country providing care for women across Manchester, its surrounding areas and the North West region. The three sites are Saint Mary's oxford Road, Saint Mary's North Manchester and Saint Mary's Wythenshawe. Saint Mary's Hospital is a well-known centre of excellence, all with a vibrant and lively working atmosphere. You will work with the Lead Midwife for Education and Practice Development team and other multi -disciplinary team members to support education, practice development and preceptorship.
