We are seeking a Group Chief Delivery Officer committed to the achievement of our strategic goals to foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation. The Group Chief Delivery Officer is a pivotal role to our future success as we push to improve the care and services for the people of our Manchester, Trafford and beyond. Applicants will have established operational management skills coupled with exemplar leadership and substantial experience of working in complex NHS organisations or similar.

Main duties of the job

As the Group Chief Delivery Officer you will provide inspirational leadership, with strong values that match ours and role model an unwavering drive to improve the care and services for the people of our city and beyond. Using your highly established operational management skills coupled with exemplar leadership, you will lead the operational management of the Group, working closely with other Group Executive Directors, Hospital, Managed Clinical Services and Local Care Organisation Chief Executives. You will have corporate responsibility for the management of clinical operations across our 10 hospitals & managed clinical services and you will drive the estates masterplan for MFT.

You will promote a culture of innovation; horizon scanning for opportunities to develop and implement improvements, ensuring we're at the forefront of service excellence. You will lead the development of all emergency planning activities, ensuring robust major incident plans are in place and that clinical services are delivered against the Trust's strategic priorities and performance objectives.
