Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the MFT Research and Innovation Team. We are pleased to offer a B3 Clinical Trial Assistant role (fixed term for 12 months) within the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust in our Pediatric Research Team .

This post is ideal for anyone who would like to develop and enhance their skills and start their career in research.

Main duties of the job

You will have good communications skills, a team orientated approach and the ability to plan and undertake work in an accurate, methodical, and efficient manner. A good eye for detail is essential, as are strong administrative and IT skills. An understanding of the clinical trial process, clinical practice, Research Governance, and a familiarity with medical terminology would be advantageous.

You will support our dynamic research team and get involved in many aspects of our research studies. You will actively contribute to the performance and delivery of the team by ensuring you provide administrative support in a proactive, timely and efficient manner. You will help us to maintain our status as one of the leading Trusts in the UK and have the chance to work with a team with extensive research experience.
