Job summary

Manchester LCO corporate office are looking for an admin assistant with minute taking skills to join our team. You will provide high level professional administrative support within the Corporate Office. Working autonomously you will provide a comprehensive secretarial/administrative service to assist the LCO corporate team as required.

Responsibilities are varied and include managing diary commitments, scheduling various meetings, producing minutes and coordinating arrangements for meetings and events as well as preparing correspondence, reports and presentations. You will have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and be fluent in the use of Microsoft Office. With the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and maintain effective internal and external contacts, you will have a flexible approach to the working day to meet tight and varying deadlines, and be someone who works well as part of a team.

The role will be the main contact for facilities enquiries and ordering of stationery, equipment etc.

Main duties of the job

  • To provide secretarial and administrative support to the LCO corporate team. This will involve composing and typing correspondence, reports and minutes of meetings using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and bespoke data information, recording and reporting systems.
  • To be responsible for dealing with issues of a highly sensitive and confidential nature.
  • To provide a full administrative/secretarial service for frequent meetings preparing and compiling agendas and papers, circulating papers, taking and transcribing formal minutes within agreed timescales and protocols where confidential information may be discussed and judgment will need to be made in relation as to how minutes are recorded sensitively and accurately.
  • Be the main contact for all facilities related enquiries.
