Manchester Local Care Organisation is recruiting a North Manchester Strategy Programme Support Officer to support the implementation of one of the city's flagship plans. We are working with BPP to offer the Level 4 Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship as part of this role.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your project and programme management skills by working on a large and complex partnership programme. A once in a generation level of investment is coming into health, care and housing in the north of Manchester. The North Manchester Strategy is the reference point for partners as they redevelop the North Manchester General Hospital site, reprovide the Park House mental health facility, and deliver 15,000 homes at the Victoria North development. Partners are committed to using these investments to stimulate long-term change for communities by improving facilities and services, opening up access to education and training, creating new jobs, promoting healthy lifestyles and contributing to a zero-carbon environment.
Main duties of the job
The North Manchester Strategy Programme Support Officer is a key role in the Programme Management Office that supports the implementation of the North Manchester Strategy. This includes supporting the effective running and management of the programme, input to functions such as planning, reporting, governance and risk, and supporting multi-agency improvement and change initiatives.
The apprenticeship
The Learning Provider will undertake applicant eligibility checks at key points in the recruitment process.
