Job summary

This is an exciting new post which has been developed to support the Connect NW Neonatal Transport Service, as we move into our brand new base near Warrington which will for the first time align the medical, nursing, ambulance and administrative staff on one site.

Working closely with the Lead Nurse, Clinical Director and Directorate Manager, the postholder will provide business intelligence to extract, validate and analyse data reports from existing information systems and to support the development of new electronic database systems for the service in the future.

Main duties of the job

As an experienced member of the A&C team with excellent data handling and analytical skills, you will be adept at creating reports and demonstrating these within presentations. You will have existing familiarity with Office software packages and the ability to interrogate bespoke databases including Microsoft Access. You will have previous experience of managing staff and demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You will have good numeracy skills and financial awareness and will understand the requirements of patient confidentiality and data protection.
