Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the multi-award winning Energy & Sustainability Team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust as a Waste Officer.

You will be responsible for monitoring waste services, undertaking waste audits and ensuring legislative compliance across the Trust. You will have the ability to manage a variable workload and to work as part of a team, and will be committed to ensuring high standards.

Main duties of the job

The role involves support the implementation of waste and sustainability initiatives. You will also be responsible for identifying and delivering projects to reduce waste and improve segregation. The role will support waste management across the Trust, including the requirement to work from a variety of Trust sites at times.
