Job summary

The Northern Sexual Health, Contraception and HIV Service

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic digital marketing officer to provide The Northern's digital marketing strategy to reach more people, build stronger relationships with our digital audiences, and support income generation and participant recruitment for the service.

Working as part of a friendly information technology team you will have excellent IT and communication skills and be able to work calmly under pressure using your own initiative, with an ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines.Essentially, we are looking for a candidate educated to degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent experience; who has knowledge of the specialist areas identified in the job description, acquired through experience or training.We would expect the candidate to be a good team player with a flexible approach to work, providing digital support to the entire service.

Main duties of the job

Main Duties of the role will be the implementation, running and management of the below (please see job description and main responsibilities for further information):

  • Social Media - Twitter
  • Websites - The Northern website (The Northern Sexual Health - Home) and FRESH4MANCHESTER (Home - Fresh4Manchester) sites.
  • Reporting and Analytics
  • Planning and Budgeting
  • Photography/Media
  • To liaise with Trust Communications as required and appropriate, as well as engaging with key Stakeholders and partner organisations.
