Job summary

The Learning Environment Education Link (LEEL) will work with the ward manager / team lead, supporting the Practice Education Facilitator Team (PEF), in the provision of a quality learning environment, ensuring the learner is supported and has a good experience within the learning environment.

Main duties of the job

The Learning Environment Education Link is a registered professional and has an interest in the provision of a high-quality learning environment for learners.

Ensure each learner allocated to the learning environment has a named assessor / supervisor

Feedback learner evaluations to the learning environment team. Work with ward manager / team lead and PEF regarding any action plans arising from issues raised

Work with ward manager / team lead to inform PEF of any team changes

Provide information to team regarding registrants and education updates

Collect evidence for the Education audit liaising with the PEF and University Link Lecturer (ULL)

Support staff to develop their supervisor / assessor skills and ensure numbers of staff that have signed self-declaration forms are adequate to support learner numbers

Act as a source of support for colleagues and learners

Discuss with the PEF any learner progression issues or if concerns are raised regarding the learner or learning environment
