Job summary

It's an exciting time to join MFT as Voice services are joining together! We've recently appointed to a new Clinical Lead for Voice post within the Trust, so now is a great time to be involved, benefit from a large voice service and influence the future of clinical voice services in Manchester! This post will be split across two hospitals delivering specialist voice assessment and treatment. We're looking for someone passionate about voice with some base knowledge and experience and a real keenness to learn. Regular supervision and ongoing CPD will be provided.

Main duties of the job

  • To provide a clinical service to adults with acquired communication and/or swallowing problems as in-patients.
  • To provide a clinical service to adults/children with clinical voice disorders.
  • To provide input to the teaching, research, audit and service development functions of the department.
  • To actively participate in CPD opportunities to maintain and expand clinical knowledge.
