Main duties of the job

  • With a minimum of 2:1 in any degree subject, you'll preferably have previous work experience within the health or voluntary sector & the ability to show an understanding of the NHS.
  • With strong analytical skills & the ability to consider complex data/information, you'll deliver & monitor against key performance indicators within the Trust.
  • Tenacious with the ability to demonstrate a high level of self-belief, drive & resilience to achieve goals, you'll identify & resolve operational issues that arise within the department /service & implement changes
  • With an innovative approach & flexible attitude to work, you'll support the departmental/divisional service development, innovation & improvement
  • Putting the patient at the heart of everything you do, you'll undertake investigations & respond to complaints appropriately within agreed timescales
  • As an effective communicator with the ability to present relevant written & verbal information well, you'll work with clinicians & clinical teams to help develop protocols & pathways to improve service delivery.
  • Importantly, you'll have both a willingness & potential to develop the necessary knowledge, skills & behaviours to become a first class, resilient & inspirational General Manager & Leader.

Communication, data analysis and leadership along with the ability to collaborate and work as part of a team are vital and we would expect to see all of this evidenced in the supporting statement of your application with clear examples.
