An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 6-month secondment within the hepatitis team based at North Manchester General Hospital as part of the Manchester University Foundation Trust. We seek an enthusiastic nurse with experience working within infectious diseases. The post holder will be based mainly at North Manchester General Hospital and will be responsible for delivering and assisting in the development of a high standard of care for patients with hepatitis. This will be working autonomously and in conjunction with the lead consultant and the hepatitis nurse lead, in a referral centre providing care for patients residing across Greater Manchester.

This post will require you to have a high degree of autonomy, manage your own clinic caseload, possess excellent communication skills and ideally have experience in caring for patients with complex care needs.
The post holder will be expected to work across multiple settings including outpatients, inpatient wards, the community and outreach services. They will be involved in all aspects of the care of people living with HIV and will work as part of a wider MDT.
