This is an exciting opportunity to join the team working on the North West's Greener NHS programme, contributing to Delivering a 'Net Zero' National Health Service.
The North West Net Zero Project and Data Analyst will be working within the North West Greener NHS team, supporting the three ICS's: Cheshire and Merseyside, Greater Manchester and Lancashire & South Cumbria. An important support role, designed for a person with great organisational and analytical skills and interested in driving and delivering a rapid transition to low-carbon healthcare.
An arrangement is in place whereby the team will be employed by Manchester Foundation Trust and will be embedded into the NHSE NW Healthcare Public Health Team until March 2023. The aim is to novate the team fully to NHSE at the beginning of the 2023/24 financial year. This arrangement is set out in a Service Level Agreement between NHSE and MFT.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support with the project management, data analysis and administrative tasks across a range of net zero initiatives. The portfolio of work will cover all areas that have a carbon impact, including but not limited to care pathways, medicines, procurement, estates, waste, food, travel & transport, and adaptation.
Excellent organisational and data analysis skills are required, with an ability to be adaptable and flexible.
