Job summary
The post holder will support the Safeguarding Support Team in administrative tasks as appropriate.
To provide an efficient, high quality and confidential administrative and secretarial support to the safeguarding support team.
To respond promptly and efficiently to all routine requests to deliver the safeguarding agenda across HIOW Healthcare.
To work without direct supervision in prioritising and making decisions in relation to the day-to-day operation of the safeguarding support team hub and to work collaboratively with other members of the team.
To assist with, collation and dissemination of data and monitoring and evaluation of projects for the Safeguarding Support Team. Maintain and upload safeguarding documents via electronic health recording systems.
Main duties of the job
*To act as the first point of contact to practitioners and professionals from other agencies for the Safeguarding Support Team hub. Filtering calls and correspondence and dealing with routine requests.
*To deal with highly sensitive information regarding abuse and domestic violence effectively and in a professional manner.
*To use information systems e.g. Systm One, Caredirector, MOSAIC, RIO & Spine Portal effectively to identify relevant practitioners, GPs etc.
*To transfer data including safeguarding alerts to relevant electronic health records.
*To request information from service lines for the purpose of high-risk domestic abuse meetings then upload identified information after meetings.
*To set up and maintain systems for the collection of data and monitoring of projects for the Safeguarding Support Team. This includes setting up databases, spreadsheets and the development of presentations using power point.
*To use advanced IT skills to develop and maintain specific databases as required by the Safeguarding Support Team e.g. Training database.
