The Basingstoke Public Health Nursing 5-19 Service ( formerly School Nursing) based at Parklands House is looking for a dynamic and self motivated Community Public Health Advisor (formerly Community Nursery Nurse) to join its team, the position is Part-time at 22.5 hours per week and you are required to hold a NNEB Diploma or equivalent NVQ Level 3 in Early Years for this position. Main duties of the job
We are looking for a motivated professional with excellent communication skills who has the ability to work as part of a skill mixed team delivering delegated components of the Healthy Child Programme (DH 2021). Promoting child health and parenting skills for families by participating in planned programmes of care under the supervision of a registered practitioner. You will need to be committed to working to achieve healthy outcomes for children and have an awareness of aspects of safeguarding children whilst being supported by robust organisational supervision, guidelines and policies.With a positive approach to customer care, you will need to be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, prioritise your workload and manage your time efficiently.Applicants should have a good level of IT skills as you will be required to record clinical data in the electronic patient record system and due to the nature of the post, a Full Uk driving licence, access to a car and insurance for business use.
