Job summary
We are recruiting for a Community CAMHS Team Lead to join our multidisciplinary Community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CCAMHS) on the Isle of Wight.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our CAMHS Team, you will be joining a strong and supportive group of professionals who will be your peers inspiring colleagues. You will play a crucial role in providing and being responsible for ensuring the provision of safe services for all people using the Community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.
The post holder will support the Children and Young People Services Cluster and Clinical Lead to ensure the delivery of a pathway for people using services that meet all quality, financial and operational performance targets and ensure that these are monitored and tracked effectively.
The post holder will be expected to work in line with the Trust values and behave in a manner that facilitates the development of autonomous teams and individuals that are empowered, engaged and committed to continually delivering excellent care with compassion.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will be working alongside young people and their families to deliver outstanding care and helping to promote independence and dignity and positively enhancing the lives of individuals in our care. You will be expected to work flexibly within the Child and Adolescent pathway to ensure the safe delivery of services and ensure the service complies with both local and national best practice and guidelines, including but not limited to NICE. The Team Lead will be expected to be responsible for recruitment and retention of personnel within the team and developing, co-ordinating and implement processes for managerial supervision, clinical supervision, case load management and staff annual appraisals as appropriate.

Across Hampshire, our community hospitals provide inpatient rehabilitation as a step down from acute care, and our dedicated teams also staff Treetops Sexual Assault Referral Centre in Portsmouth, offering expert, compassionate support.
