Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join our Financial Management team here at Hampshire and IOW Healthcare NHS FT. We are looking to recruit a dedicated and highly motivated individual to join our finance team in providing a high level of support to our corporate services.
The Financial Management Team is responsible for delivering accurate and easy to understand financial information and providing high quality financial advice, working alongside the divisions and corporate services to make the best decisions for the Trust.
Working closely with finance clinical and corporate teams, this role will provide you with an opportunity to be part of a forward looking and innovative finance team that provides comprehensive advice and support.Interviews are planned to take place on Wednesday 30 July 2025.
Main duties of the job
The role involves ensuring both our expenditure and income are accurately apportioned and recorded, providing financial support (face to face and online) to budget managers to ensure achievement of planned performance, supporting the budget setting cycle and identifying, analysing & investigating complex financial queries and discrepancies.
The post holder will need to have excellent communication skills to assist them in dealing with a wide range of people and an interest in investigating and solving problems using a range of information sources and systems.
This role is suitable for any candidate with a good understanding and experience of financial management.
The role involves some hybrid remote/office working with a minimum of 2 days each week, spent in one of the Trust's core office locations as agreed between the successful applicant and their Line Manager.
